Baking Soda Gender Test

For years my grandmother swore by using  Baking Soda Gender test. As for myself I was a little bit skeptical to say the least. My mother didn’t want to know what gender she was having so she didn’t  try. Me on the other hand I wanted to know and living several miles from my doctor one day I was searching on the internet and came across the baking soda test. Well since I already had somebaking soda gender test in the frig, I figured what the heck. After checking out several pages I was able to learn how to do the test and ran off to the bathroom with my baking soda and a cup. Sure enough it was fizzing by the time I made it back into the Kitchen. I jumped on the phone to call granny and of course she said I told you so.I did have a son that we named Brandon and this was eventually confirmed by an ultrasound later. The Baking Soda gender test was right. These are just my results maybe I was lucky or maybe the baking soda was right.

Important: Do the test first thing in the morning when you get up. Your urine will be at it’s strongest.

How to do a Baking Soda Gender Test

baking soda gender test cupThe first thing you want to do is put a little bit of baking soda in the bottom of a disposable cup,one you dont use for anything or is going to be thrown away. I keep one and labeled it and kept on the shelve above the washing machine or you could by a package of clear solo cups. You will need somewhere around two teaspoons of baking soda.Try to use a fresh box,not one that has been sitting in the refrigerator for months like I did. The baking soda was to old and the gender test did not take. Next then add a little bit of your urine to it,just enough to cover the soda, somewhere around one third of a cup. Now fill your cup  and then add the two teaspoons of  baking soda.If it fizzles like a like a carbonated soft drink , it may be a boy. If there’s no fizzle, it may be a girl. When I did mine the right way the second I added the baking soda to the pee it started to fizz right away. This meant I would be having a boy.

I found this you tube video will show the basic principles of how to do a baking soda gender test.

Does the Baking Soda Gender test work?

I am sure their people like my granny who swear buy it.I think for me it was just fun to think maybe it’s a boy.Just maybe…I just wonder who thought it would be a good idea to pee in a cup for a  baking soda gender test to predict if you where going to have a boy or a girl.

If you happen to try the Baking Soda Gender test I would like to here your results if you want a more accurate test kit try Intelligender Gender Prediction Test Kit . Here is the bestselling and a Pregnancy Gender Predictor Test and it is a lot cheaper,It uses first morning urine and a proprietary mix of chemicals which reacts with a combination of hormones to indicate the gender of your baby. It is an easy test to perform and provides quick results in-home so the news can be shared right away.If you really want to know. Thanks for stopping by,Allisha

    • I had an ultrasound done yesterday, at 16 weeks, there was no sign of a penis at all so they’re thinking girl. This morning I did the baking soda test and it literally did not react at all! Did not fizz or produce a single bubble, nothing! I’ve watched several videos of boy reactions and I have to say this test is pretty accurate. I’m having a girl and the test did not react, so that means girl.

  9. According to the Ramzi method, I am supposed to be having a girl, but after taking the baking soda test with LOTS of fizz…this would mean boy (yay). Im 13 weeks today and find out next month what gender we’re having. This is exciting because its my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was a boy, had hyperemesis and was sick the entire time. with my girl, I was naucious and I considered it a (normal typical) pregnancy. This one, not one symptom. Had I not recently started feeling a bump and confirmed my pregnancy 3 times, with ultrasound, I wouldn’t have known. (loving this) Makes time fly by. Im due 9/11/15 cant wait to find out what we’re having!

I did the bs test today and it seriously looked like a glass of draft beer with a lot of “head” at the top. I am 10 weeks tomorrow

I did the baking soda test and it fizzed ALOT which means a boy, I also have taken the intelligender test in which that said boy too so maybe just maybe these tests are correct! It would be so nice to have a little boy in the house, especially for my husband’s sake.

I’m 14 weeks and tried the baking soda and it fizzled like sprite and had foam at the top. So I’m guessing it’s a boy. I also tried it with the bleach and it foamed all the way to the top. As per the old wives tale it’s a boy! I’ll be taking my next ultrasound at 20wks and see what baby number 4 is…. :)

I’ve done all the little old wives tales and they all say girl. (they were all right with my first born, including the Chinese calendar) I used the test this morning, twice actually, both had no reaction at all. I’m hoping for a girl! I’ve already had 5 ultrasounds and go in for my next this coming week. (yes 5 before my 12th week, I’m extremely high risk due to cancer I’ve had since 2008) doctor said this is my last chance to have another baby and it’s a miracle that I was even able to get pregnant the first time, let alone again! So fingers crossed for a girl for me!! :)

  60. So we planned this pregnancy hoping to have a boy by using the Chinese calender method and alkaline diet method. And timing prior to ovulation. Nothing is a 100% but I wanted my son to have a brother before he gets a sister. That way she will have 2 brothers watching out for her. But I’m open to what ever I God gives me.
I’m 11 weeks and for fun
I tried this test. It fizzled like beer and stayed that way for a minute. So maybe it worked. It maybe a while before I have the ultrasound done which determines the gender but I’ll keep you posted.
